We’ve got the little lounge area at Nara reserved for a couple hours starting at 6pm-ish on Friday May 9.
General Manager Marco is waving the customary $250.00 weekend night minimum tab in exchange for the fact that we’ll wait for anyone seated in the lounge before 6 to leave the area before grabbing the table(s) we need. This is as opposed to Nara having to stop seating the area for us around 4:30 which is expensive for them. And we should probably try to clear out around 8 — campers still lingering can always spill out into the main bar area.
If someone has a different Friday venue they’d like to suggest instead we can cancel this one so just say the word.

Unless you’re dead-set on Nara, we could check out Jack Stack BBQ at the freighthouse… they have a decent party room. Not sure if they’d donate much, but as long as everyone orders something, we might be able to get it.

If you find out Jack Stack is an option let’s put up a quick poll at polldaddy or zoho or somewhere and let folks express their preference.
The Nara reservation can definitely be canceled with a phone call so no big deal there.

Nara has a pretty good happy hour but I think it ends at 6pm. A poll might be a good idea to see how many to expect for Friday night. I’m more than happy to help set this up or offer ideas.
